I learned that the only way you are going to get anywhere in life is to work hard at it. Whether you're a musician a writer an athlete or a businessman there is no getting around it. If you do you'll win - if you don't you won't.

Musicians can run this state better than politicians. We won't get a lot done in the mornings but we'll work late and be honest.

I don't like to travel as much as I have in the past but it's good for my soul to get to pick especially with these good musicians and these guys that play so well.

Then I was lucky I met with my future husband and I started new life with my husband and I was happy again. He was a musician. I start to travel with him through Europe also and around the former Soviet Union.

You need to know what makes artists tick. Well I think any author or musician is anxious to have legitimate sales of their products partly so they're rewarded for their success partly so they can go on and do new things.

I think that my past stands me in good stead in that it does have a certain strength for musicians.

I like to follow my favorite team and talk sports with my band or fans. You won't believe how many musicians are sports fans. We have so much time on tour that we need these outlets for relaxation.

If we perform the romantic repertoire we need more musicians.

Madonna is a pro. I don't like her and have no respect for her but- I don't think she should be called a musician or a dancer or whatever you know but I do have well I do have respect for her ability to completely manipulate the media and have them work for her.

My father used to tell me about how musicians don't have respect from people and he was afraid about my future.
