I think the destructive vicious negative nature of much of the news media makes it harder to govern this country harder to attract decent people to run for public office.

I've spent hours and hours doing research into Appalachian folk music. My grandfather was a fiddler. There is something very immediate very simple and emotional about that music.

At the end of the day money is just a proxy for votes. That is what makes politics so vulnerable to social media.

The biases the media has are much bigger than conservative or liberal. They're about getting ratings about making money about doing stories that are easy to cover.
