A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life.

I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.

We should not blur the lines between legal and illegal immigrants. Millions of people around the world have gone through the process to come here legally and they followed the rules that required them to pay a fee learn English and learn about American history and government.

I support legal immigration. I don't support amnesty because it is not fair to people standing in line at consulates around the world.

Moreover from reforming the tax code to our immigration system to commonsense legal reform President Bush put America on notice that he will continue fighting to make the country and the world a better place for future generations.

I also urge the Obama administration - both on its own and in cooperation with other responsible governments around the world - to use all legal means necessary to shut down WikiLeaks before it can do more damage by releasing additional cables. WikiLeaks' activities represent a shared threat to collective international security.

I wish the government and the Minister of Justice would address these legal and constitutional arguments but they refuse to. They want Canadians to go blindly into their brave new world but it is not wise for a society to move blindly in any direction.

In my role as Wikileaks editor I've been involved in fighting off many legal attacks. To do that and keep our sources safe we have had to spread assets encrypt everything and move telecommunications and people around the world to activate protective laws in different national jurisdictions.

Frivolous lawsuits are booming in this county. The U.S. has more costs of litigation per person than any other industrialized nation in the world and it is crippling our economy.

In those parts of the world where learning and science has prevailed miracles have ceased but in those parts of it as are barbarous and ignorant miracles are still in vogue.

We also learn that this country and the Western world have no monopoly of goodness and truth and scholarship we begin to appreciate the ingredients that are indispensable to making a better world. In a life of learning that is perhaps the greatest lesson of all.

In such an environment I was able to study things that could be of immediate usefulness to the world. That learning experience undoubtedly served me well when I eventually entered the work force.

The top experts in the world are ardent students. The day you stop learning you're definitely not an expert.

I don't think any other city in the world... the sun doesn't shine the same way anywhere as it does in New York. And then I guess everyone's very good at hanging out. Not in a crazy way but you're just constantly interacting and learning.

Anytime you ride against the best in the world it becomes a learning process.

All the learning in the world cannot replace instinct.

Only the other world has substance and reality only good deeds and holy learning have tangible worth.

Learning has always been made much of but forgetting has always been deprecated therefore pedantry has pretty well established itself throughout the modern world at the expense of culture.

You go on these Internet blogs and people say the meanest things. I'm a normal person. Just because I'm in the spotlight doesn't mean I'm God's gift to the world. I'm learning and making mistakes just like every other 17-year-old girl out there.

The world is the true classroom. The most rewarding and important type of learning is through experience seeing something with our own eyes.

The Company of Wolves is about how society teaches young women to look at themselves and what to be afraid of. It's about a girl learning that the world of sensuality and the unknown is not to be feared that it's worth getting your teeth into.

Also the more you're not focused on showbiz and instead focused on life learning about other people and keeping your eyes open and trying to be aware of the world.

It takes a long time to learn that a courtroom is the last place in the world for learning the truth.
