Anybody who asks for democracy to be introduced should respect the results of democracy.
I like cinema audiences. I respect them and I talk to them just like I would anybody I know.
You know I've carried a weapon for 10 years never shot anybody never robbed anybody. It has saved my life twice but I know they're not toys. I practice with firearms I enjoy shooting it's a hobby of mine and I have a healthy respect for them.
I am not going to condemn anybody. That's where religion gets a bad name when people get holier than thou. We are all human. If my children make a mistake I want them to know it is all right and they should try harder next time.
Twenty five percent of Israeli citizens are not even Jewish. Anybody can become an Israeli citizen if you qualify. Religion is not a criterion for citizenship.
Haven't two hundred years of failed missionary work overseas taught anybody anything? You can't convert people to anything - whether religion or something as inane as our flicks.
In matters of religion and matrimony I never give any advice because I will not have anybody's torments in this world or the next laid to my charge.
In order to satirize adequately I think you need to bring people down to Earth and be like 'Yeah these people drink coffee and have tummy troubles and they go to the bathroom like anybody else and they all have relationship problems if they even have relationships.'
I think anybody who has had a long relationship and has had a really hard time letting go wants to feel like it's not all for naught and it's meaningful because it makes you who you are.
There is a physical relationship with a woman that you don't have with anybody else but that's not about love. Love is a spiritual thing.
I think that if your approach is one where you don't want to alienate anybody you're going to have to soften the viewpoint or the information that you're offering to such an extent that it doesn't have the power to make any difference. You have to take that risk.
You can't trust anybody with power.
With what all these people are saying do you think that anybody wants to be around me? They all think that I did this on purpose? That I knew that I was positive for so many years? I feel now that I'm going to be attacked if anybody sees me or if I go to the office.
I hate banks. They do nothing positive for anybody except take care of themselves. They're first in with their fees and first out when there's trouble.
I don't for the life of me understand how anybody could contemplate the results of the 2000 election in the US and say that electoral politics doesn't matter any more and that Ralph Nader was right when he said there is no difference between the two parties.
People are fed up with the politics where candidates just rip each other apart and then the voters lose in the end because no one really knows what anybody stands for.
I don't know if anybody wants to mix their politics with their entertainment.
There is probably a perverse pride in my administration... that we were going to do the right thing even if short-term it was unpopular. And I think anybody who's occupied this office has to remember that success is determined by an intersection in policy and politics and that you can't be neglecting of marketing and P.R. and public opinion.
When I was a boy I was told that anybody could become President I'm beginning to believe it.
Hell I never vote for anybody I always vote against.
Whereas with poetry no one has to show anybody really and you don't have to tell anyone you're doing it.
I think Ginsberg has done more harm to the craft that I honor and live by than anybody else by reducing it to a kind of mean that enables the most dubious practitioners to claim they are poets because they think If the kind of thing Ginsberg does is poetry I can do that.
I don't live for poetry. I live far more than anybody else does.
Poetry seems to have been eliminated as a literary genre and installed instead as a kind of spiritual aerobic exercise - nobody need read it but anybody can do it.
