I always like to start my morning with a good amount of fruit. I really like pineapple particularly because of the enzymes that it has. Sometimes I have oatmeal. But if I'm feeling like I really want to be watching my weight more then I definitely do a protein like an omelet scrambled eggs or some smoked salmon.

There is a bright spot or two for the Spaniards. French toast has become freedom toast on the Air Force One breakfast menu but the Spanish omelet is still a Spanish omelet.

Now that I'm a dad I'm practicing what I call 'one- handed cooking ' because I've got something more important in my other arm. I'm whipping up lots of frittatas and omelets.

You know out-of-touch liberals like Barack Obama say they want a strong economy but in everything they do they show they don't like business very much. But the economy of course is simply the product of all the businesses of the nation added together. So it's a bit like saying you like an omelet but you don't like eggs.

I cannot go to Montreal without going to Beauty's my favorite place for breakfast where I have the Mish-Mash omelet with hot dogs salami eggs green peppers and onions and the best banana bread in the world. It's legendary!
