Television is a medium of entertainment which permits millions of people to listen to the same joke at the same time and yet remain lonesome.

My earliest acting memory is making up a play for my mom and dad called The Lonesome Baby. I have no idea what The Lonesome Baby was about. I just remember the title. But I'm sure it was an epic.

The land created me. I'm wild and lonesome. Even as I travel the cities I'm more at home in the vacant lots.

Lonesome. Lonesome. I know what it means. Here all by my lonesome dreaming empty dreams. Weary. Weary at the close of day wondering if tomorrow brings me joy or sorrow.

Life's an awfully lonesome affair. You come into the world alone and you go out of the world alone yet it seems to me you are more alone while living than even going and coming.
