I probably have an earlier curfew than anyone. My mom wants to keep me really safe and my dad's not overly protective but he's a dad no matter what.
Once when I was 16 I had my car taken away from me for being past curfew. Oh and I said a bad word once and I actually did get my mouth washed out with soap.
All we can do when we think of kids today is think of more hours of school earlier age at the computer and curfews. Who would want to grow up in that world?
Certainly protecting oppressed people stopping ethnic conflict and promoting responsible governance are worthy goals. But none is as important for American security and prosperity as keeping the peace in the Middle East Europe and East Asia.
