I often buy myself presents. Sometimes I will spend $100 000 in one day in a posh boutique.
I've lost touch with a lot of that boutique-type music just because of my age and raising my son and the multiple jobs I have at this point.
And yet I suppose you mourn the loss or the death of what you thought your life was even if you find your life is better after. You mourn the future that you thought you'd planned.
