Before I begin talking about the threats we face the vulnerabilities that we have and frankly the courage of the men and women in uniform that stand in harm's way on behalf of a very grateful Nation let me first honor the sacrifices of September 11.

Paul persuaded me to join the band. I would never have had the courage otherwise. It was fun at the beginning. We were playing just for fun with Paul's group.

If we are to survive we must have ideas vision and courage. These things are rarely produced by committees. Everything that matters in our intellectual and moral life begins with an individual confronting his own mind and conscience in a room by himself.

Real courage is when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what.

Film and television are just different. Film is cool because it's a complete package. You know the beginning middle and end. You can plan it out more which I like. But with television you get a new script every week so it's constantly a mystery as to what you're going to be doing.

I just thought it could make a really cool movie. It's not that it's just a buddy comedy but it's all about two guys hating each other and towards the end they're good friends. I liked that these two guys were best friends from the very beginning and they're crazy.

I saw 'Captain America' in 3D. It's cool. I liked the beginning. It's a really good setup.

To me it all comes down to things being character-driven. It's hard for me to look beyond that. CG and all this cool stuff - so be it. But to me it pretty much begins and ends with character-driven plots rather than technologically-driven plots.

I really liked the snake that breaks out of the cage in the beginning of the movie. I saw it in real life and it was really cool. Really big and fat. The owls are cool as well but you can't really pet them.

Well the big products in electronics in the '50s were radio and television. The first big computers were just beginning to come in and represented the most logical market for us to work in.

I think we are at the very beginning of high changes not only in terms of digital film but in the way the movies will be screened whether they'll be screened on phones on computers - on everything.

The real danger is not that computers will begin to think like men but that men will begin to think like computers.

Civilization grew in the beginning from the minute that we had communication - particularly communication by sea that enabled people to get inspiration and ideas from each other and to exchange basic raw materials.

I mean I think we're put here on earth to make your own destiny to begin with. I don't think there's anything you can do this way or that way to change anything.

I think it's harder for people than it should be. But as more and more of us become carbon neutral and change the patterns in our lives to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem we are now beginning to see the changes in policy that are needed.

This great though disastrous culture can only change as we begin to stand off and see... the inveterate materialism which has become the model for cultures around the world.

We can't change anything until we get some fresh ideas until we begin to see things differently.

Women have a lot of power in private life. There are many men who would say 'Hey women already rule my life.' But with women more is more. The more there are the more the world gets used to seeing them. We change the culture. We begin to expand options and lead and manage.

I think it true that you know sometimes things start to change even before a government changes and actually I think you can begin to see even the Labour machine beginning to understand that it has become over-reliant on targets and processes that local governments have been over-bossed and bullied.

It is time for corporate America to become 'the third pillar' of social change in our society complementing the first two pillars of government and philanthropy. We need the entire private sector to begin committing itself not just to making profits but to fulfilling higher and larger purposes by contributing to building a better world.

Yet what you need is not marches demonstrations rallies or wide associations all of them are important. What you need is direct action. The sooner people understand that the sooner we'll begin to change things.
