I don't mind a dirty girl. But what I find tragic is when we as women become not the subject of our own story but someone else's object.
There are older men with younger women but you don't see a lot of older women...
I don't think balance is something you get from someone else it's something...
There'll always be working people in my poems because I grew up with them and I am a poet of memory.
