I have a huge active imagination and I think I'm really scared of being alone because if I'm left to my own devices I'll just turn into a madwoman.
Growing up I wanted desperately to please to be a good girl.
But the wicked passions of men's hearts alone seem strong enough to leave...
I didn't mind studying. Obviously math and the physical science subjects interested me more than some of the more artistic subjects but I think I was a pretty good student.
